How does iScholar Live Tutoring Work?

Live, instructor-led online courses with definite duration are conducted by instructors delivering sessions on a specific date at a specific hour. Learners can take these courses through online video streaming from anywhere on earth and users can interact with the instructor through speaking, chatting and screen sharing. Users can speak to the instructor by using a microphone.
Self-paced online courses are provided through high quality pre-recorded videos and these courses can be taken by the trainees at apace they find comfortable, at their own time. These courses too can be accessed from anywhere in the world. These courses offer a combination of video, audio, PPT, PDF doc etc.
Yes, you can take the courses irrespective of your location. Please make sure you qualify for the course.
You need not worry at all in case you miss any session. After each live session, users will be able to access the recorded session on the user page. You just need to log in with your respective username and access the missed session. In addition to this, you can also take that session in a different batch.
In addition to the class videos in uploadable format, we also provide the PPTs, PDFs, and codes related to the topics in the downloadable form.

In case of live, instructor-led online course, towards the end of the course, the instructor will allot you a real-time project to help you have a clear understanding of how to conceptualize and implement the real-world application. S/he will provide you with constant support and assistance in completing the project assignment. On successful completion of the assignment, it will be reviewed by the instructor and you will be awarded a certificate with performance-based grading.

Technical FAQs

Pre-recorded sessions are the ones in which there is a one-way flow between the instructors and the learners. In other words, learners can watch the session, but cannot ask the instructor a question to clarify a doubt. These courses can be accessed from anywhere on earth. All you need is a decent internet connectivity to play the video. You can learn at a pace you are comfortable with.
Instructor-led online live sessions are the ones in which there is a two-way interaction between the learners and instructors. The instructor can easily engage, observe & track the learners’ progress. The learners also have the opportunity to ask questions in order to clear doubts through various modes (chatting, speaking or mailing).
You need decent internet speed to access a self-paced online course.
In case of a live instructor led online course, we recommend 1Mbps of internet speed. However, learners can take sessions with lower internet speed also.
Users can go through the archived recording of the session or attend the same class in a different batch taken by a different/same instructor. In no event will you lose a lecture forever. You can always watch the session being taken by your instructor on your user page.
